Here is their website:
https://www.trailervalet.com/shop/rv...SAAEgJvzPD_BwE

Looks like the one capable of handling 5,000 lbs in only... $3,400.

The one capable of handling 9,000 lbs is a mere $4,100. You first.

By the time I learned how to efficiently... use it . I could have learned to back a trailer 15x over the right way! Notice they only demo'd it on a smooth flat level concrete floor? "PROFESIONAL DRIVER > ON CLOSED COURSE, DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!"

AND... What do I have to leave at home to haul this beast to a camp sight just to impress the "one time only Weekend neighbors"? Meanwhile I left the Kids... Grandkids... DOGS... Bottled water for the dogs... MY TOW VEHICLE!!! (Oops... that won't work!!!) Added GVCW! + only $4000 Shipping and handling included...

They (the new neighbors... could care less! They have a "real" laser light show, and outside speakers, and a plastic neon palm tree, not to mention PLASTIC FLAMINGOS (you've been flocked) and glow in the dark dog collars, and kids who don't know what NO means (or bedtime)! Meanwhile I blew $4000.00 in the process... They only spent $50.00 at Party Goods! LOL LOL LOL!

p.s. Do they make a 5'er version for under 20 grand? Nah..., never mind dear....!

Have seen a few people backing into campsites that should use one of these. They would have a few extra HOURS to enjoy camping. No kidding.

For $4K+ you could call a towing service to have them park it for you quite a few times! You can see who their target audience is by the camper that's being used. If you can afford a $100K 24' camper with no slides what's another couple of thousand to park it?

Being one of the three people in the whole world that doesn't have a FB account, viewing the video was a challenge. I would be afraid of using something like this on anything but a perfectly flat surface - what happens on a slight grade (up or heaven forbid, down)?

FYI, here's their web site; they do make more conventional trailer movers.

So I guess now the challenge is who will be the first to get one on video.....

In a previous life I use to work around these type of machines. You will find that they are very capable pieces of equipment regardless of surface. I also see potential for beyond just moving the trailer in place . How about a Ricksaw attachment to take you and the misses for a slow lap around the RV Park....

Maybe the good folks at Long, Long Honeymoon (LoLoHo) could preview it for us in a real life video?

We're 2 of the other 3 people without a FB account! The other thing is we DON'T want one either! We'll just trod along uninformed as usual.

I guess I would be the 4th one in that group. DW keeps me up to date on the gossip around the valley.

Bring that total to six. Neither DW nor I give a rat's patoot about all the gossip (casual goings-on), nor do we have time to FB. Maybe I'll start tweeting so everyone can keep up with how good the reservations were at the restaurant, or …...well, you get my drift.

Number 7 here. DW uses it for her photo business so I don’t say anything about it.

Awhile ago I had wondered if there was such a device and went "googling" around and came up with this one also. https://parkit360.ca/products/electr...over-5th-wheel

It would make maneuvering around in my tight driveway space at home a lot easier, but I'm not in the "rich enough not to care about the price" category, so....

Thumbs down That would be errr.. nice

Definitely could see how this would be easier backing into some spots, but like every invention to make it easier, there always seems to be a catch.

Like this, I can't man handle the fifthwheel hitch in or out of the truck bed. I saw somewhere there is a lift, made to fit into the regular trailer hitch receiver and put an object weighing up to 400 pounds into the bed of the truck. I thought, that's it, that is what I want!

Then I realized the lift weight is 200 pounds, so if I can't lift the 160 pound fifthwheel hitch into the truck, how the heck am I going to lift the 187 pound lift into the receiver. Not to mention storing both the hitch and the lift somewhere out of the way.

When we were using a 28 foot light weight trailer I had a front hitch on our Durango. Could even push her up a 40 degree driveway and turning was soooooo easy. Wish that would work with our current 16000 pound 37 foot 5th wheel but afraid to even try to get it to the area we had made alongside of the garage for our other trailer so now have to pay for storage instead.
