Wheels

Wheel question
I have a 2017 HC 310RE. I want to get a set of those Sailuns 637. Can the wheels that I have on my 5th wheel handle the 110 pounds of air pressure? Or where can I find out how much air pressure the 16” wheels can handle. It’s not like a tire where it says it on the side.
Thank you

It should tell you on the back of the wheel; stamped. It can show max psi, mine show the max lbs. then reference it back to psi by tire size.

I really love those tires, but sadly not available in 15"....

You will also need to swap out the rubber valve stem for metal ones.

There are a couple of the offshore trailer tire manufacturers that already have 15" steel cased tires available in the USA. Their ST225/75R15F tires have a load capacity of 3195# @ 95 PSI.

Our trailer wheels are certified by the SAE. The wheel load and any PSI requirements are not required to be displayed on the individual wheels. Normally when you find such info on the wheels it's something OEM providers have asked the individual wheel manufacturer to do. So, for accurate information about a wheel's specs, it's best to ask the manufacturer. The individual wheel must have the manufacturer's name and model number on it. Just call or email them about the specs.

If you are saying your "HC" is a Montana High Country, it will have 16" wheels. Look on the back side of the wheel, maybe on a spoke and see what the specs are. The newer High Country models have 8 lug hubs/wheels. If your wheels are not spec'ed for 110 PSI, you can find aftermarket wheels. Look on eTrailer.com.
