Anyone running the ALCAN

I just wanted to let anyone that might be on the ALCAN that the hwy is currently washed out, bridge missing, landslide covered between Watson Lake and Teslin. Best scenerio is it will open Tuesday but the current news on the street is most likely Friday.

Also be aware that 37, the Cassair, and a couple of other side routes are being shown as closed. The Cassair was suppose to open today but the offical status on the roads page is still showing it closed.

Well the highway is suppose to reopen today for limited travel. As always check highway conditions often if running the ALCAN.

Picture of Destruction Bay before road cleanup and yes that is the road.
