Just FYI, "Zero Plus", "Artic" or "Polar" package means there's a covering over the trailer bottom, usually coroplast that has very little insulating effect, plus a small furnace duct blowing into that covered bottom provided you're using the furnace. Those catchy names for particular rvs are no more insulated, no more suited for cold weather than any other rv in their particular price range & none are going to be toasty warm in temps at or below 0 degrees.

I live in southern Saskatchewan, where it can get really cold, as in -40. This Fall, I took my trailer out to a nice little area at a friend's place, thinking to stay a couple of nights. Blah! Woke up the second morning to wet snow. I had to bring my old Suburban up right close to the slide so I could crawl up and scrape off the roof so I could get it closed. I took the trailer back to town. So much for "winter camping"!

It was during that episode that I noticed the floor giving out. (Story can be found in another thread)
