Flybouy may have a good suggestion. Depending on your inside and outside shower configuration you may have backfeed through a shower. I did hear of this before on the forum and it was the outside shower that was the culprit. Make sure all your faucets are off and don't just have the button or valve on the head pushed.

FYI, I ordered a new HWT as I took apart the old one and it had sediment at the outlet that was working for a few seconds and then shut down. thanks for your input

I hear that.......the HWT was partially plugged, hence the intermittent issue

New off the press, it was not plugged with residue but the backflow preventer check valve. 9 bucks, after I went and paid 500.00 for a new Atwood HWT......Im sure I would have needed sooner or later
