New Cougar 337FLS

We ordered a 2015 Cougar fifth wheel. Started off looking at the 327 but fell in love with the 337. Pretty excited, gonna be a long winter. This is our third Keystone but first fiver. Now I need some advice. How can I convince my wife that my blue F250 wont match the new trailer and we need a black and tan King Ranch?

Congratulations on the new Cougar. Good luck with convincing the DW about the problem with the truck color. Keep nagging, who knows, it might work. If not look at the bright side......you might get to spend the winter in the new Cougar.

You could tell her that the F250 is a little light in the britches for that trailer and that to feel completely at ease for her safety it would be prudent to buy a new F350 dually.

Good luck on the new 5er. Now on to the truck you are looking at a $68,000 for the King Ranch I know because I just got a 2015 F350 see what yours is worth on the NADA web site. then price it out on the Ford web site right now Ford is offering $3,000 cash back or 0% financing. what I did was get the cash and the lowest financing from a bank 2.9% my payments ended up lower on the 2015 than on the 2012. The new 6.7 Diesel pulls like a dream and I get 11-12 MPG towing. You should get a price of about $63,000 for the truck make sure you get at least a 3.55 rear and the camper (slide in) you get a larger rear stabilizer and springs also I got the 5th wheel prep Pkg. Reese makes a universal adapter that fits most hitches.

I have the 337FLS and we love the trailer. I am currently pulling it with a 2008 F250 and it does handle the trailer OK but I noticed right away that the pin weight is heavier on this trailer. It does bounce or float a bit more than what I was used too. It pulls fine but I am thinking about up grading to a new 350 also. If you come up with a good angle with the wife for a new truck do share...

Haha! Thanks guys those are awesome answers but I'm stuck with the blue for now lol! It just got paid off in May so no payments for a little while. Brantlaker I am extremely jealous! That truck would look great in front of our new fiver! As far as the pin weight goes I know its on the high side. We'll see how it rides. I already have air bags and if need be I'll change the springs.

Glad to hear you like the 337! From the pictures we only see one outlet in the kitchen, is there another one anywhere?

We picked up our new Cougar a couple weeks ago. We have this spare part in our fridge and we can't figure out what it's for. It's not shown in the owner's manual for the fridge. Anybody know?

Is there any sort of part number on it? I can't say I've ever seen that in any RV refrigerator. Maybe a part shipped to the dealer for a different unit? Of so then your selling dealer didn't do a very good prep job, I open EVERY cabinet, cupboard, drawer, door looking for anything "extra". I have gotten some real nice tools that way

it's the mounting stand for the flat screen TV. If you would want to remove it from the wall mount and use it on a countertop, that stand would need to be installed to the back of the TV. Most of us store it at home or in a spare cupboard in the RV so it's available if we would want to upgrade to a larger TV or ???

Don't throw it away, sure as you do, you'll wish you had it LOL

I was sort of thinking it might be, but in the fridge??? Every Keystone I've seen that has a flat panel installed will have the brackets in the original box, usually under the master bed.

I stand by my original statement, the dealer didn't do a proper prep IMO.

Our stand was in the cupboard under the TV, but it was the stand for an Elements TV not the Visio TV that was installed. We finally got the right stand just before Christmas this year. We took delivery of the trailer in July 2013. I won't say Keystone was slow, but molasses in winter would be faster than that parts delivery. LOL Only 19 months, so I guess it could have been longer ?????

I suppose putting it in the refrigerator would have kept it with all the other "itty bitty" plastic parts.... Who knows, it probably seemed "like a logical place" to someone at Keystone working the line that day......

So here it is. The front landing gear is a couple inches off the ground, I was playing with the auto leveling system. We loaded up all our things today. The storage is awesome coming from a TT.

Picked up our 337 a couple of weeks ago, we have the 12 foot 4 door fridge, the spare part in ours was to hold the doors partly open to air out when the camper is not in use to keep away the mold

Matching in Tow Vehicle

Yes the Oxford white with Pueblo gold 2 tone pretty much matched the Cougar Paint/Graphics
