2017 Keystone Sprinter 298FWRLS

We have an option on this 5th wheel 298FWRLS. Are there any owners on the forums that own this model and what are your good bad ugly points? We're looking for RL, the three slides and nothing bigger. It's not perfect for us but close.

We have a 2016 269FWRLS. Make sure it has two AC units!! We had to add (and pay for) a second unit in the bedroom because the single unit could not cool when air temps were near or greater than 90 degrees. the trailer was prewired for a second unit which makes me believe Keystone knows a single AC unit is not adequate. There is a propane gas outlet on the driver's side; why there when BBQ'ing will always be on the passenger side? There is only a single on-board battery. the AC port in the bedroom had an 18" long dead end extension of the duct past the AC port that significantly reduced air flow from the port. I plugged the dead end extension with Styrofoam. The latch on the spice door next to the oven is not strong enough to keep it from sliding open during travel. I have to put something in front of the door during travel. the trailer came with no toilet paper roll dispenser. I had to install one. we like the trailers overall design but will most likely never buy another new one.

FWIW, pretty much no maker will install the toilet paper dispenser. If they install it on those thin walls, when you yank the paper and it pulls out it's a warranty issue. I see them in the owners packet so the customer can install it. Then when it pulls out it's not a warranty claim.
Besides that, not everyone is right handed...or left handed.

Re: 2017 Keystone Sprinter 298FWRLS

Thanks for the replies. We've already decided whatever we end up with we'll get the option of second AC. We have issues with that in the camper we have now, not enough cooling in the sleeping area. We also looked at the 269FWRLS and it's still on the list. Mostly we liked the shower, how's that working compared to other shower shapes now? Do you use any straps to keep any drawers or cabinets secure? We've mostly used our camper at a seasonal site but are looking for something else to do some traveling with this next year.
