Smile saying Hi for the first time

The boyfriend I just traded our old wilderness for a 2008 Montana. I really like it, just have a few things to figure out....like how to work that tv and dvd player!

I am enjoying reading your posts.

Welcome, it took us some time to learn them to. Lots of reading will help. If you have any questions just ask. What model did you buy?

Good luck and happy Camping from another Montana owner!

hi

2008 3500 Montana. It is sweet. The dvd doesn't have controls and I am so lost, but I am going to see if the rv place will get one for us.

when we got our 08 the remote to the DVD was missing, I couldn't do much with it until one was purchased. My dealer allowed me to get one online and then covered the cost. (quickest way for that problem to be solved my case)

yeah

The bf took the rig in for the as is warranty (15 days) to get a few things checked out. First big thing was the remote and they are going to order one for me ASAP, along with the slide out remote. YEAH!!! There wasn't much wrong with it but I wouldn't let them go they were big enough. The black water would drip out of the 'dumping pipe' and they said they would just put a valve on that one. It was hard to change the valves in the thing. Since it was not a bad drip problem I guess this is ok. A light on the outside would vibrate and turn on as you went down the road and the sensors are whacky. Even if I was told the sensor panel is always that way, I decided at least the battery had to register right! We dry camp a lot.

Now that I have this thing, maybe park camping will happen a lot. ha!

Welcome to the forum as well as being a 'Monty' owner . We've only had ours a few months, but wouldn't want any other brand! You might want to check out the montana owners forum also at http://montanaowners.com/.

I have a feeling I shouldn't keep answering on the newbie thread, but just to say we picked it up on a Friday and hauled it to a NASCAR race on the next day. We camped a week and then camped the next week. We did do a test run. I love it!
