Wave in sidewall of spare tire

Noticed some waves in the spare tire. Tires on the trailer look fine. Is this a problem? Click image for larger version

What brand tire is it? If it’s OEM most will say replace them before they blow and damage your TT. I’ve seen that on car and truck tires too. You may want to talk with a trustworthy tire dealer and ask him.

The next to last set of tires I bought from DT for the SUV had some "dents" in the side. Mgr. said it was nothing to worry about - "probably the mold". Ran them 48k, still looked almost new with zero problems (Michelin).

It's probably just undulations. Quit common and a little more pronounced with ST tires.

Yes, I agree with undulations. It's the ovelapong of sidewall cords in the construction of the tire. They are more pronounced with taller sidewall, high pressure tires. All my OEM Traiker King had them. My Carlisle ST tires do to but are much less noticeable. Generally speaking, it's the outward bulges that you have to worry about indicating cord damage.
