Installed vent covers today
Finally got around to installing the Maxxair II vent covers today. Installation was a breeze.

Into the frame side only fir the MaxAirII. No drilling into the roof. They are a pretty easy install.

Good add on. I leave our vents open when it is parked next to our house. Have a fantastic fan in the kitchen and bathroom so having the covers really helps even more. Had them on our last RV and after 6 years there were no issues.
We had the dealer add the covers when we purchased our Avalanche - I made the mistake of not specifying which model I wanted. He installed the Maxxair (00-933066) White Vent Cover instead of the Maxxair II (00-933072) White Vent Cover. I may replace them with the Maxxair II - they are easier to "open" to clean the vent covers and screens.

Last summer, I installed 2 on my TT. Very easy and user friendly. I went with the clear smoke color since it allowed tinted light in.

Just put the same on my TT, the tinted ones. Now I can leave the vents open to let the heat out while the camper is parked.

I too installed two of these. They were on sale at Camping World about a month or so ago at $24 each. I installed the non tinted ones to let in light.
Yes, they were easy to install. About 45 minutes for two of them and that included me waddling up and down the ladder.
