2018 Hideout 28RKS Roof Issue
We just got back from a 4,000 mile family vacation. During the trip we noticed the roof membrane bubbled up in the front. Everything was in good shape when we left the house.
I visually checked all of the seams before we left and have never walked on the roof. It's headed back to the dealer for this and other warranty issues later this month.
They are telling me at the dealer this is not a warranty problem, it is a maintenance issue with the front seam. I'm not buying that as the roof is supposed to be 100% glued down.
Any ideas of suggestions on if this is a warranty or maintenance issue?

IMO it is a warranty issue IF the front seam doesn’t have any voids in the sealant.
So how did you inspect the seams/seals? Not trying to pick on you, but if there is voids in the sealant, that IS a maintance issue and any RV maker will only cover the first 90 days of ownership. Sucks but that’s the sad truth.
I would be taking LOTS of pictures, documenting the front seam and sealant.

X2, I'm with Chuckster. Even during normal driving the vacuum created by air traveling over the roof will try to pull the membrane up. The roof manufacturer will say it's an installation error. "Not glued properly".Which is probably true.
We had the same issue and Keystone did cover it under the warranty but not before the dealer worked them over a little.
Take the photos, have the dealer service manager get up on the roof and confirm your documentation. Read his report to Keystone and make sure they are clear about the issue being a warrantable repair.
This will definitely let you know if your dealer is on your side in getting this fixed under warranty.

Chuckster57, I can see every seam and seal with a ladder working around the unit. The unit was picked up new from the dealer 6 months prior to the trip. It went back in at about 60 days after pickup for inspection/warranty issues. They said they checked everything and all was good. They didn't check the LP side of the refrigerator, it's got a bad board.

Here are a few of the before/after field repair. To me, it looks like the roof turned loose and pulled the seam.

ONLY MY OPINION, but that “repair” looks a bit substandard.
Let’s wait and see what the dealer/Keystone says.

Field repair
That was a field repair to keep water out on the way home. The sealant was already set back when I picked up 2 tubes of self leveling sealer. I put it over the separation in the gaps. As rain was in the forecast the next morning, pretty was not the priority since it would be torn off more than likely.
