Harvest Hosts

Wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Harvest Hosts program. www.HarvestHosts.com Sounds like it's mostly one-night boondocking stays, and need to call ahead and plan on some purchases, but we are interested in winetasting and there are a lot of Wineries included. Might be a good way to find a cheap spot to overnight, in between destinations. 1 year Membership is less than many one-night stays, and stays are free.

What are other's experiences?
