High Country Roof Construction

Can anyone confirm for me the type of material used for the High Country rafters?

If you have a wood frame RV, which can be found by looking to see construction in storage areas, wood. Aluminum, Aluminum. But there is possibly a slight chance they could be made from a composite material.

Pull the trim from a vent, 4 screws, you should be able to see the rafters.

High Country Roof Not What You Expect

I have a 2019 Montana High Country brochure, and went to website, and neither indicate an aluminum framed roof. Unfortunately, I am betting it's wood framed roof. The guy who suggested it's aluminum is projecting that from a Mountaineer...not a Montana High Country. I just looked at a 385BR High Country Montana and the dealer never said it was aluminum...just that it was "walkable". Seems like that would be a great sales feature they would want to point out if it was not wood. Hope I am wrong, cuz this 5th wheel is supposed to be a higher end model.

I think it has wood rafters. Our previous Cougar XLite had stamped steel rafters. I recall the discussion with the salesman about the advantages of both. I was concerned about wood rot and he was telling me that metal rafters conduct heat and cold.
