Re-program transmission

I plug a Flashpaq Superchip box into my truck to re-program the transmission for towing before each outing. Does anyone else re-program their truck? Also, the Flashpaq has a "Performance" option. Has anyone used this for towing?

When I loaded the towing tune in my truck I liked the power and mileage enough I leave it all summer. I only turn it down in the off season because lower torque in Michigan winter is not a bad thing.
