Installing led dimmer
Hi. I just bought a led dimmer switch fir my 334fwfls. I am replacing the front living switch. Way too bright. New switch has 4 wires. 2 out. 2 in. Old switch has 2 multi colored wires connected to it and two white wires connected together in the wall. How do I wire this thing. Thanks.

Installing led dimmer
White wires are ground, white with tracer color is positive. Hope that helps you get started.
One of the tracer will be 12VDC "in" and the other will be "out". Test light will tell you, after that without the instructions for the switch I couldn't tell you.

So I need to figure out what wire coming off switch is from power and then other us going to lights. New dimmer has 2 wires for incoming and 2 for going to lights.

Pretty much. If you just take the two tracer wires apart, the feed will be hot (12VDC) and the other will not light up. Very common in RV's to bundle grounds together.

your trailer wiring should have 2 conducter wire for the 12V stuff. Factory just perls apart the insulation. So your ground "in" should be the solid white that is the other half of the power in tracer wire.

Okay, let's start over.
Your trailer has 4 wires:
Two white with tracer, hooked to the current switch
Two white wires connected together.
What you need to do:
Determine the two incoming wires, using a test light the incoming will light the test light. THAT PAIR (white and white with tracer) will be incoming. The other pair will be out to LEDS
Take the incoming pair and hook the tracer wire to the 12V+ "in"
And the white wire to the 12V- "in"
Take the other tracer wire and connect to the 12V+ "Out"
And the white wire to the 12VDC- "out"

No problem. RV 12V wiring can be confusing sometimes.

Do the led lights have to be replaced with dimmable ones in order to use dimmer from Recreation Pro?
