A/C not kicking on

I have a 2014 Hideout. The last few times I have been out, when I turn the switch on to cool, the air conditioner won't start. I have to mess with the switch and turn it off/on a quite a few times before the unit will start. Once it is going, it stays working properly all weekend. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, if it is the switch or something in the unit itself.

Thanks,

You may not be waiting long enough for it to start. Mine has an eight minute delay time before it will start the compressor. This is done to protect it from short cycling damage. When you are hot as eight minutes seems like forever. JM2˘, Hank

X2 on the delay start. Just give it a few minutes.

Thanks guys, I had also thought the same thing, but it has never delayed before. It would always start up immediately.

We had a similar problem this summer. When I took it to the dealer, they discovered loose wires in the air conditioner to/from the thermostat. Another example of Keystone's shoddy workmanship.
