Help! Black tank valve broken

I was emptying my black tank when I went to close it, the rod broke. There are no threads and I am sealed under my flooring so I am not sure how to fix this.
I am a single 69 yr old female and just bought my 2012 Bullet Ultralite a month ago. I just thought I had this all under control when this happened. I need advise on how to fix this and the grey rod also looks bent like it could break.

Are you sure the rod is broke? The rod is a hollow tube with threads in the inside of the tube. It's quite common for them to loosen and even fall off. They are very inexpensive and available at any rv dealer or rv parts store and many campground offices sell them as wel.

You might want to contact a local Mobile RV Repair service. If the issue is at the valve itself then this will likely require that the coroplast on the bottom of the coach be removed (It can be cut and resealed but removal is best). It might be a simpler fix but trained eyes on the problem would help.

Let's hope Marshall is correct and that's all it is

Cindy: since you started another thread in another section and this is section is for introductions, I’m going to close this one so members don’t get confused about which one to reply to and you will only have to check on one thread.

BTW: welcome to the forum.
