I have a tailgater. It took me forever to get it hooked up. I connect the tailgater to the port on the outside of the travel trailer. I was told that I would have to run the cable through the slide and into the back of the DISH box. But, we are able to use the port on the RV. I cannot tell you exactly how I did it. It was trial and error for many hours. I ended up buying a RF modulator and the wires are connected through it.
Everything is connected now. We are even able to watch the tv in the bedroom. Don't give up.
