Another One of Those New Guys...

Hi guys. Just checking things out. I'm looking at a new Outback 272UFL travel trailer. We've looked at everything in the 25 - 30 foot range, and just ran across this floorplan this week. Going Saturday to "lay hands" on one to see if we like it as well in person as on the internet. I thought I was going to buy a Crossroads Sunset Trail 254RB until I saw this Outback model. It's a little heavier, but offers so much more for the weight it brings. Will be pulling with a '14 Toyota Tundra Crewmax 4x4, so I'm still very good on weight.

I look forward to hearing what you guys have to say on the forum about the brand and model, plus other RV input as well!

We too are considering the 272UFL. We saw one in a dealer lot in Elkhart earlier this year (2017) and loved the floorplan. It is very "house-like" having a totally separate and private bedroom area. Another thing I liked about the floorplan is that there is a room (bathroom) between the entertainment center (read TV) and the bedroom. I usually stay up later than my wife and watch TV a bit so she will be a bit more insulated from the TV audio when she's trying to get to sleep.
There are other things I like about the 272UFL as well.

Welcome to the forum from Fowlerville Michigan. Make you you spend a lot of time in there so you can get accommodated with the layout. I think my wife and I spent around 3 hours in our TT on the dealers lot the first time we contemplated the purchase. Went back next day and spent another 3-4 hours in it going through it to make sure it worked for us. And still went back and spent more time in it and others before deciding this TT was the one.
