New to the Forum

Hello to all,

My Name is Brent, and my wife and I have a 2013 Sprinter 299RET that we bought new in late 2013. We pull the trailer with a 2013 F-250 Lariat with the 6.7L Turbo Diesel. Have been watching the forum for a few months via tapatalk on my iPhone and decided to join the forum since their is a pretty active bunch on here and a lot of good information is exchanged.

As for me, I retired from the Navy in 2003 and started a second career, retired from that earlier this year and have managed to camp 10 weeks so far this year with a couple of weeks spent at Grenada Lake in Mississippi, two weeks at Arkabutla Lake in Mississippi, 2 weeks at Lake Charles in Arkansas, a week at Norfork Lake in Arkansas, a week at Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee, and the other two weeks at various camp grounds for a couple of days here and there. I am taking off this Thursday going back to Arkabutla for a week and a half. I am typically staying within a three to 4 hour drive of home so that my wife can come visit me and the dogs on weekends since she is still working (hey one of us has too!). As for the dogs, we have two Great Danes that love to camp and fish with me, but I don't let them in the boat to often. As for the boat, it is a 2015 Xpress H20PFC with a VF150 Vmax SHO motor. I typically only camp where we can fish.

Guess that my story at this point, if you happen to be in a campground and see a sprinter 299RET being pulled by a two tone Kodiak brown F250 with Arkansas military retired tags on it, stop by and we will have a cup of coffee.

Fare Winds and Following Seas,

Brent

Welcome to the forum from Southern MD. I'm retired Navy too, 1996. I'm still in my 2nd career, 3 or so years to go for me. Enjoy and thanks for your service.
