Fresh Water fill

All prior trailers have had an overflow drain for over filling the fresh water tank.
On the new trailer I find no drain other than possibly the vent, Which seems a little high to be forcing fresh water to overflow when the tank is full. This is the first time I have not been hooked to city water and was concerned about where the water was going to go when tank is full.

Do I need to be brave and try it or is there something I am not seeing.

The instruction say to fill via the city hookup and switch to tank fill. Like I said no courage to let it go to the vent as over flow.

Had the same problem with our '08 Challenger 5er. The vent is the overflow tube also. Since it is above the fill tube, as soon as water flows out of the vent, the vent tube will no longer vent (because it is not a straight run from the tank to the vent) and the next time you try to fill the tank you will not be able to get it completely full. I solved this by rerouting the vent tube out the bottom of the rig (being sure there where no kinks in the tube). Of course, I did this while the bottom fiber cover was off. I'd had to cut the fiber to fix a couple of hydro. leaks which kept the slides from working. I found that there is no way to really fix the fiber bottom so I replaced it with metal siding and did a couple of other things at the same time. Now I have to drop a metal panel or two to fix the drain valve cables. At least I know how to do this.

Yes, just switch it to tank fill and let 'er rip. Fill it until water comes out the vent hole. I also turn on my water pump just to make sure the lines and hot water tank are also filling up. Not entirely sure that is necessary though.
