Love mine as well. The only shortcoming is lack of wardrobe space in bedroom but we still have empty cabinets after a year and a half...lots of storage.

Re: Any Cougar 26RBI Owners

So far we're good with ours, we've only made 2 trips, one weekend and one week out of town, love the extra room from our 19 Premier, great couples camper. (I call it a "pop-out). Didn't think I'd like the kitchen slide, but from the inside it's great, and we've even used our oven (never ever used even the stove in the 19) I think we're going to really enjoy this beast

Also I looked into a 3/4 ton diesel to tow it with, but so far our F150 Eco-Screw has towed it with no issues in moderate hills at over 10mpg.

I only wish they had thought our the dinette a little better . . . thicker cushions and the thin card board leather trim could have been improved on, my grandson caught his leg on that and broke it on our first trip out

Went to dump the the tanks for the first time and they are mislabeled or backwards. The tank pull on the left or closest to the front of the RV was labeled black but is actually the grey tank and the one on the right is the black tank.

Did they mislabel them or are my pulls backwards?

Thank you, I will make new labels.

My next question is I am having trouble finding perfect level ground to get the perfect measurement for my 26RBI coupler height for the weight distribution setup. Anyone happen to know the coupler height from the ground when perfectly level on level ground?

I don't remember but I think if you go between the wheels and measure from the ground to the bottom of the frame and then go up front and measure how far the hitch frame extends below the trailer frame, and subtract that from the first number you should be close. I seem to remember it being somewhere around 24" on mine.

I noticed that too when I went to dump the tanks.
Oh, quick PSA, make sure that you levers are closed before opening the cap to the main dump port/valve. Didn't realize the black tank was open (was labeled grey tank). So, got poo and blue all over me.....that was a crappy experience. Pun intended.
