Source for replacement A/C ceiling vent

Arrived home from a trip today and found the bathroom 7" A/C vent louver on the floor. One of the three tabs looks like it broke off.
Roads were a little rough today, but no huge bumps.
Looked on Amazon and through past threads but didn't find anything.
I'm hoping someone may know a source.
Thanks

I replaced several of my vents with adjustable vents including the one in the bathroom - they provide a lot more versatility in air flow. Amazon shows them unavailable but here is a link to them from rvupgradestore. This same vendor has the regular ones I'm sure;

Any RV dealership with a parts store will probably have them hanging on a rack on the sales floor. Most/many people change out the "non-closing type" for "closing vents" and have a "stack of the old ones in a cupboard in their RV"...

Check a local RV dealership, you'll probably find them for $7.95 each... Order from EBay, an internet RV parts house or Amazon, you'll likely pay twice that much plus shipping/handling charges....

I saw these on Amazon but wasn't sure they would fit the existing base plate and they were also out of stock. It's also frustrating that many of the distributors don't show all the dimensions for their covers.

I did some minor mods to the A/C to reduce the noise by reducing the air turbulence at the A/C discharge. It's better now but still loud on low where I have measured 67db at the center of the camper and 125mph at the vent by the refrigerator! I think 15,000 BTU is a bit much for our little camper. I wish there was a low-low fan speed. Maybe the adjustable vents will help control the air flow better and improve our comfort.

Good points. We just got home so haven't had a chance to look locally although we don't have a lot of options here.

15k for a 22' trailer in some climates might be a bit much in that size trailer. Here in the SW (108 currently) one would appreciate every drop of that 15k. The one I looked at appeared to show 4 ceiling vents total. I would worry that if you start blocking them off your unit will start freezing up.

Our 24’ camper has a 13.5k AC and 4 ceiling vents. At night we shut two of them down (bathroom and 1 main living area). Never had a freeze up and we camp in seriously hot and humid areas

I appreciate the 15k when we first start it up but when it's really humid it tends to get to the set point too quickly without having a chance to get the moisture out of the air so it is cold and damp that why a slower fan would be nice. If we were out west now we would be begging for more capacity

The possibility of freezing up had also occurred to me.

Good to know. We will have to experiment with it. Now it is really drafty in places. When we are eating I have to move a vent so the napkins don't blow off the table. When we go to sleep I have to divert the one near the bed or it feels like we are in a wind tunnel! The bathroom is the coldest place unless we leave the door open.

My bathroom will freeze me out in the right circumstances, one of the reasons I wanted those adjustable vents.

Well, that answers why they ended up broken and on the floor!

It sounds a lot worse than it is in reality. MPH is just the setting I had set my meter.

I came back to this thread today to post that I got an exact replacement vent from my cousin in MA who picked it up at a local dealer for under $5!

I then re-read your comment and realized my mistake. My post should read 12.5 MPH. 125 MPH would have blown out the windows!

I went out today and re-tested (this time with my glasses on and a flashlight):
With the A/C on and low fan I get 11-15 MPH from the vents. On high fan about 11-17 MPH.

At about 3' below the A/C on low I measure 60 dbA and on high 66 dbA. Still too loud, but quieter than before the mods.

I would probably just put a short drywall screw in it and be happy.

Has anyone found a replacement for the "Blade Vent covers"?
