Garmin GPS holder

Looking for input for a cupholder type mount for a Garmin RV 760. I don’t like it on the windshield as it takes up a lot of space. I do have the type that fits in the CD player which I like, but the blades that go inside aren’t deep enough and it soon falls out. Anyone have any luck with the cupholder type? Seems most are made for smaller/lighter GPS’s. I’m also worried that the mount won’t be tall enough for bottom of the GPS clearance, Clarence.

Thanks!

Have someone hold it in the cup holder to see if it will find enough satellites as you drive. I have a different model and it does not work in the cup holder of my Dodge. JM2¢, Hank

Take a look at the ProClip mounts. The link is for the dash mount, they also have the GPS mount.

Look up Ram mounts. They're available everywhere and they make a wide variety of gadgets and gizmos for mounting stuff.

To finish this up, I ended up buying this off the bay. It works fine with no GPS reception problems. Holds tight, but GPS does shake just a little because of the gooseneck. It's closer to my eyes making it easier to see or I can turn it so the co-pilot can see it.

Cheap answer + emergency rations! LOL! This has worked for me for years, and disappears when not in use. Starkist Tuna can is a good fit.

Good Luck,
