Hello From Florida

Hello,New to the forum,My wife and i just bought a very lightly used 2017 27rks keystone cougar xlite fifth wheel,we have a ton of questions for later but one question for now is we have the 30 amp model with the 15,000 btu ac unit and today with it being mid 90s in direct sun the ac will not cool the inside below 83 deg. is this normal for this model or should i be concerned something's wrong with the roof unit? The painted black ends of the slide outs don't help any as i cant even put my hand on it without burns....Thank You.

If I am remembering correctly they say if the AC is pitting air out that is 20deg cooler than ambient temp then it’s working right. That’s a pretty good size rig to cool with one ac. You are right the black slide ends doesn’t help either. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Yup, a 20 degree drop is considered good to go!
