Believe me, nothing sounds too crazy right now! I have one area around the gutter I am going to seal and check again, but it is really driving me crazy, to the point I have to walk away! I just can't fix that floor until I figure it out. Thanks.

Still leaking and have just about lost my mind now! I do have it isolated to one area and my guess is that somehow it is leaking at the gutter. Not sure how that goes together, but I have been sealing over the rubber trim that covers the track and it seems to be less than before. Just about ready to torch the whole thing! Will keep updating, hopefully with something positive. I suspect this leaked from day one, it just took a few years to show itself.

I think I have it fixed! I am pretty sure it was leaking where there is a seam in the gutter/drip rail along the left side. Not sure how that attaches, but looks like a butt-joint. Factory had some sealant, but now it is really sealed up! I have to say in the process of all of this I did not do the prettiest job! I don't really care though, as long as it doesn't leak. Maybe I will post a pic, but I have to admit, I am a bit embarrassed! Now onto the repair! Going to run one more water test first, then will post repair pics.

Great news! I know how frustrating something like that can be and I hope this has it fixed. You know, when it's leaking and causing damage isn't really the time to try to do "pretty" work. If it's fixed you can go back to pretty it up. Here's wishing you all the best that you have found the problem and can move on to making the repairs.

Awesome news to hear you got it. I wouldn't mind a pic to see precisely where you were leaking. I would never mock a man for fixing their problems. I would just be interested in learning where it was so I can check my rig to prevent the problem! You have busted your butt tracking this down, so mad props to you.

Yes, pics would help. It sounds like you are saying the gutter is two pieces joined together and that's where it was leaking.

Mine has the same butt joints and I noticed that this was the only place water was running down the side of the trailer when it rains. Ive gooped it up a little but still have to get up there and fix it good.

Okay, now don't laugh too hard! I really had a hard time and frustrated isn't even the right word! I do plan on putting more insurance Dicor along the drip edge but it seems to have done the job. The other areas were just done trying to narrow it down.

Now on to the repair. Here are some pics. I will glue and screw the 3/4" OSB tonthe underside for strength. I don't think I will bother trying to foam, but just make it strong. This is directly above my gray tank and it does expand if full, so don't want to put pressure down on it.

Thanks for the pics to see how you sealed it up. Hopefully that works!

The floor repair looks sharp. That double board with the channels for the frame is especially sharp, and well done. MacGyver would be proud!

Glued up my floor patch and it seems real solid. Going to do another water test to triple check, but I think I am happy with this.

Looks like a great repair. And now you have a secret escape hatch if needed!

Sharp! How are you going to refinish the floor?

I will put the original vinyl down and hope it fits perfectly! Might have to put s transition strip over seam, but I cut it with that in mind.

You've done a fantastic job. I hope the flooring just drops in and everything goes as you hope.
