Welcome from Maryland! I've owned serval boats before getting into camping and I think the old boating adage applies to rvs as well. The two happiest days in a boaters life is the day he buys his boat and the day he sells his boat. Congratulations early on your first happiest day RVing!

An observation and thought (sorry I missed this when it was current).

Do your due diligence. Know what it is that is most important to you as you look for your RV (couples only/sleep 10/large fridge/porcelain commode/50A service/2 ACs/lots of storage for kitchen items/big/small TV/king/queen bed); the list is endless. The more thought and research you put into this will determine how happy you are with what you buy and how long it will be before you are unhappy and want to "upgrade".

We had owned trailers in the past then took a hiatus from RVs for several years. When we decided to buy this one we did the above. Now, I'm in the market for a new truck and thinking maybe a new trailer. Problem? We bought a TT that fits like a glove and so far have not found a 5th wheel, or anything else that fits us better....unless we move to 3 axles. Just to point out that grabbing the first thing you see that looks good is not necessarily the best course of action. Good luck on your search and let us know when you pull the trigger.

Ain’t that the truth!! After 13 1/2 yrs of ownership on our Jayco, we spent 3+ yrs finding current one.
