New to travel trailers. Looking at a Bullet 298BHS

Hello all! I have no experience with anything other than tent camping. I am strongly considering the Bullet 298BHS and am looking for any advice that you all are willing to give me. I have a 2013 GMC sierra 1/2 ton crew cab. I choose this trailer for its weight but is it still to big for my truck? Are there any other brands I should consider?

I had the same thing with a 2012 truck same as yours. It is not big enough. We have a premier 30repr. Had to get a bigger truck. Also our premier is only ten months old and fiberglass cap already has bubbles in it. keystone says its damage. buyer beware.

1/2 ton trucks come down to payload and tongue weight as well as overall weight. For something that size you will either be close or over. I am close on my set up but it tows good. Good luck

Take a look at the Passport Grand Touring Series. We had the 2890RL which pulled nicely behind our 2003 Silverado.
