CB'S had their heyday, but as someone said the foul mouth idiots spoiled that I still have one I carry in case of needing to know why traffic has stopped. There are still some "good" truckers out there that can give you a alternate route around the problem

I use my all the time and when we arrive on location we switch to walkie talkies.

My friends and I also used to use CB's on our touring bikes. They were almost standard equipment on our Honda Gold Wings. But the last of the CB'S was owned by Fred Flintstone's Dino the Dinosaur. Too many other more private forms of communication have made them obsolete.
