Finally flushed out antifreeze and sanitized fresh water tank. Removed plastic shavings from bathroom sink faucet. Plenty of water flow out of faucet again. Topped off tires with air. Started the refrigerator. Hopefully ready for shakedown run this weekend.

Fish, etrailer will send you all self-adjusting brakes, backing plate, bearings and drums for about $800. Ballpark figure....

Got the new tires mounted and balanced. Now we just need it to stop raining long enough to get the new shackles and wet bolts installed, inspect the brakes, and get the bearings repacked. I like spring showers and all but this is ridiculous. Got flooded out of our Memorial Day weekend reservation. Mississippi River is cresting at Winona, MN on Saturday.

Cruiser, you will NOT regret the disc brake decision.
Sam, you know, you and Momma might sneak on over to the dealership this week-end, crawl up in the trailer and just sit around for awhile....maybe take a quick 'nap' on the new mattress, possibly lay your cheek against the cool Corian countertop, close your eyes and visualize the campfire....no, of course not, they'd have you thrown out. Better just wait until next Thursday!

We were worse, went to another dealership, saw an awesome floorplan on a trailer that wasn't our favorite quality. Changed plans all together, traded truck and now looking fifth wheel that gives us everything we want lol

Oh cookinwitdiesel - I don't visit the dealerships for fear that I would do the same. We are very happy with our Laredo but I am always looking for the new stuff in TT. I just buy things that make us happy and our travels easier. Enjoy the new adventure.

I didn't do the IS, but did upgrade to disc brakes & 17.5" H rated tires/wheels on my Redwood & that was the best $$$ spent. No more tire worries & you could actually feel the 5er brakes slowing the truck.

I did a slow inspection of all the sealant around the windows, outlets, power port, water inlets, kitchen vent ( had to replace the flapper on it), basement and entry doors, corner side moldings and running lights. Found "slight" cracks on the power inlet and water inlet sealant, sealed them just incase. Otherthan that all is well....good little trailer that hideout is...

I was really surprised, the more I used them the more I had to back the gain off. They're a lot smoother than the drums too.
