Trailer mods for handicap accessibility

My wife has a neurological disorder that has greatly reduced her vision and sense of balance. We have had to give up backpacking but enjoy traveling in our 2007 26'Hideout. After a few years of experience and her neurological decline we are looking at adding grab bars in the bathroom and just inside entrance. I have been considering drilling through walls and using SS through bolts to hold grab bars because I do not trust structure of trailer to be strong enough. Any of you had experience in doing this sort of thing? Any alternative ideas? I have done a lot of this in our house but I understand the structure much better (lived here 60+ yrs).

For any interior wall you'd have to open the wall and add blocking to secure a grab bar. The paneling and trim is just stapled and easy to open up if you take your time. I'm sure others will chime in soon with their experiences.
