New winnebago

Just bought new 2019 Winnebago Spirit! Factory told me if I go into cold temps(like quartzsite) my pipes under motorhome could burst😓what a scare! Anyone try wrapping the water tank, pipes underneath? Recommendation of an Rv place that might help!
I’m too old to get under there😍
Thanks, planning on quartzsite in January (50 th year)
Around Upland, Pomona, Azusa, riverside

We've been to Quartzsite in January a couple of times and it never gets that cold there. That is the reason so many snowbirds are attracted to that area. It can get cool at night, may need the furnace occasionally, but never cold enough to freeze anything.

If your pipes froze in Quartzite that would be extremely rare, if it got cold enough to freeze & burst, well that's the proverbial "hell freezing over". I'm betting big money your salesman has NEVER been there & has probably told you other things about your new Winnebago that he knows absolutely nothing about.
Welcome the forum!
But just so you know Winnebago is not a Keystone product. I/we will be more than happy to help with any issue you have as all rvs have basically all the same items & problems regardless of manufacturers.

Thank you! But I did call the Winnebago company and the technicican talked to me as i wanted to know the R rating in the walls, 7.5 (yikes) and it did freeze last year on me while in Lake Patagonia, after Quartzsite a group of us went there, about 10 miles from Mexico. So I am a little concerned! Just want to protect myself when so far from home. I appreciate everyones input.
Thanks Again

Not sure about your rv but mine has a 2" duct into the underbelly to "help" protect it from freezing. No colder than it gets around Quartzite if yours is so equipped you shouldn't have any problems as long as you run the furnace, portable heaters will not get heat into those areas.
We've camped in far colder temps than you should ever see in that area & the water supply hose is all that's ever been a problem.

According to the specs on the Spirit 22rv (If that is what you have), you have a

7. Heated drainage system
Which leads me to believe the underbelly is heated or at least the tanks are.
