Best way to clean ceiling?

In our recently acquired Montana, the ceiling need to be cleaned and they are certainly higher than what we used to have in our motor home. Just wondering if anyone has had success in using a sponge mop to clean them... I can see dark spots on the white ceiling which I suppose correspond to the aluminum framing behind it.

What have ya'll found to be the easiest/best way to clean the ceiling in your Montana?

I haven’t had to clean mine yet. A mop sounds like a good idea.

Most of the time the dark spots you see are the putty they used to hide the staple holes. Over time the putty yellows or the staples get rusty and discolor. I have found that GENTLY rubbing with a Mr. Clean eraser removes the discolored spots. Now how you are able to reach the ceiling is going to be up to you. Hop up I'll hold the chair. Good luck and let us know what you did, Hank
