Hwy 395 question

We have a Rand McNally RV Route Atlas which indicates good roads to travel in an RV. However, there is a little stretch of Hwy 395 not highlighted yellow. If anyone has traveled this section will you kindly tell me if it's RV friendly or very hilly and curvy. We have a 38 ft 'Cougar❤'5er. The section I am referring to is South on Hwy 395 through Oregon from Pendleton to Mount Vernon (Hwy 26). I appreciate any input.

It is hilly, curvey, narrow as in some areas no shoulder. Nearly all 1 lane each direction. I have driven on it in Dec on ice without pulling a RV. Also in summer and fall many times. During the night and day I have traveled on it. It is real pretty you will see Deer and Elk. There is a place named Battle Mt. and you can park there and read about the Army vs Indian battle. You travel though some national forest and private ranch land. 18 wheelers use the highway it's not really bad just slower than I-84. I have never had much traffic on it from Pendleton to Ukiah (SR 244). I do not have the elevations handy.
