Do I need to lubricate the rollers under my slides?

The rollers under my main slides are making a lot more noise than they did before, is there any maintenance I need to do on them?

Wow.... 115 views and nobody knows? I'm not sure if it's spelled out in the maintenance manual anywhere but as the saying goes, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease." I've greased mine in the past and it seems to help. I just use basic thick lithium grease.

Just now saw this. IF I were to lube them I would only use a DRY lube. Anything else will be a magnet for dust, dirt, debris. All of which are abrasive.

Like Chuck, I just saw this. IMHO (FWIW), the reason it's not addressed in most owner's manuals is because greasing the rollers will make the components "sticky" and that "stickiness" will attract dirt and sand. The dirt and sand is more damaging to the rollers than just leaving them alone to squeak and squeal....

So, it's (for the most part) better to leave them alone than to try to fix the squeak and make the roller's lifespan worse.... If you do use anything, a "dry lube" is the only thing I'd consider.

Sprayed regularly with this on the last 3 5th wheels with no issues.
Don't use any type of grease or spray that's oily, such as WD40, that dirt/dust will stick to.

I use the Silicone Spray as well. I also spray down all moving parts on the Stabilizers. And wanted to add, Don't forget about the rubber seal around your slide outs...
