Fan running
We just bought a Montana high country 263rk and were working on getting ready to go camping. I was looking at the circuit panel and noticed that the last 20 amp breaker was not on. I looked at the tag but who ever wrote it just scribed and it is unreadable. so I turned it on. As soon as I turned it on I started to hear a fan sound coming from under the stairs and felt air movement at the return vents. Does anyone know what I turned on? Is that a tank heater or what? I have no clue.

Not your furnace fan... the furnace is 12VDC not 120AC.
It's most likely a circulating fan added by the previous owner.

Just a guess but .... I'm thinking it is your converter fan. Check your control panel and see if it makes a difference in your battery level when you turn it on and off. If battery shows less than full with it off and full with it on then that breaker controls your converter. JM2˘, Hank ....... breaker should be marked "CON/REC" or similar.
If you are sure you are feeling air from the vents you may have optional electric heat .... Comfort something or another can't remember the name. ....... Maybe "Home Comfort System"??????

Not heater I did not have the heater on. Also it is brand new first owner.
I will check the convert idea. Can't read what is on label.

glad you figured it out. For future reference:
A converter takes 120VAC and outputs 12VDC
An inverter takes 12VDC and outputs 120VAC
Converter is standard equipment in pretty much every RV. Inverters can be installed to operate some 120V appliances like TV, household refrigerator, satellite receiver, etc. Except the A/C.

Glad you found out what it does ..... while plugged into shore power leave that breaker on so the battery will be charged. You need the 12v dc to run lights, fridge and other devices in your trailer. Travel safely, Hank .......... and like Chuck said ... it is a Converter.
