2014 Keystone Outback 286 tire concerns

Just bought a 2015 keystone outback 286frl, my concern is the tires, they are made in China, and worried about the tire falling apart. Not sure of the brand since rv is in storage, but do know they were made in China, if I keep them covered and check the pressure, how long can I expect them to last?

Welcome to the forum. I'm not trying to be a comedian by saying this, but you can expect them to last until they blow out, or separate, or throw the tread or self destruct.

Really though, go to the "Tires, Tires, Tires" section of the forum and start reading. Nearly every post concerns these "China Bombs", their problems and different solutions taken by members with regards to their "Chinese made ST tires".

Welcome.
Go to your nearest Discount Tire. Get them to order Maxxis tires for you. Install with steel valve stems. Consider a TPMS. No more tire worries.

If you had known about the reputation of Chinese tires prior to your purchase, then it might have been worthwhile to have the dealer swap them out for a "better, non-Chinese tire" at the time of sale. You might have made the purchase contingent on the dealer exchanging them for a brand that you specified. Not a big ticket item nor a deal breaker.

But the horses have left the barn.

Ordered the Maxxis tires, getting them installed for a little piece of mind! Thank you for your inputs!
