Drains on My 299RKS Question

Hi All,

Under my 5th wheel there are 3 drainable white plastic lines. The one on the DS is clearly the fresh water holding tank drain. The other 2 are together and on the PS approximately under the kitchen sink area. What are those for? I have to admit I have never tried to open them and see what comes out but I can't imagine what they are for. The kitchen gray water drains through the main sewer system.

Thanks for your help

Those are low point drains.

Like Bob said, those are low point drains for draining and winterizing the fresh water system. Once you open them, open all faucets and a majority of water in the hot and cold lines will gravitationally drain out. Next step is close them up and then fill / purge all lines with antifreeze using a water pump bypass kit.

Okay, well we don't have to winterize out here so I have no real use for them and will just leave them alone.

Thanks

Since the water will just sit in those drains it might be a good idea to open them when you sanitize the system to avoid oders. JM2¢, Hank
