blinds or day/night shades in 333mks

Just got a 2016 333mks and it had rollup shades in it and not day/nite shades. Dealer said thats what the new ones are coming in as. Also it did not have the cap lights either. Can not get any info on the web site or the 2016 brochures are not out.

The Cougar 2016 East and 2016 West brochures are available online for download. They are on the Cougar page, along the top is a tab "Get A Brochure". They are at this link: http://www.keystonerv.com/request-a-...s?brand=Cougar

Thanks. The brochure they have on line right now are marked 2016, but they are dated 2014 on the last page of the brochure.

We picked up our 2016 last week, and it also has roll up shades. I think they are much nicer than the other. We were very surprised to see how opaque they are at night! They are also easier to use.

I'm not sure what lights you are referencing, so I don't know what ours has or doesn't.

BTW, there were several discrepancies in the brochure online, but we are very pleased with our product!

As far as the window coverings...I am changing over all of my windows to "roller shades"! Ours came with the "day n night" shades and they are a pain in the patute!

I have restrung all of them with #300 pound braided fishing line and they still want to fray because of poor manufacturing of the sharp edged eyelets the string slides through. We are fulltimers so the blinds are up and down everyday!

Oh...enjoy your new RV and "roller shades"!

Shades

We've had the camper out and really enjoying it. The roller blinds really do work better.

I am on the other side of this discussion...my prior trailers all had the roller shades, and our new 2015 Cougar 28SGS has the day/night shades. We have found the day/night shades much easier to use, and they also look more high-end in our opinion. Actually, my DW had a very difficult time operating the roller shades and would often unspring them by pulling them down too far.

Where did you purchase your roller shades, The instructions for restring looks like a pain in the A..! I think I will replace them as they brake, only 2 have broken strings in them so far.
