Piliot light goes out. Gas smell

When I'm cooking on my Atwood Wedgewood Vision gas stove the pilot sometimes goes out and I smell gas. I looked at the manual, but alas, no help there. Maybe someone here can help me figure out why is goes out.

I know the burner goes out to keep temp, but the pilot is going out now as well. I've checked for line pressure, clogs, and have plenty of gas. Is there anything else I can do before having it professionally serviced.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

thanks
