will this pin box work?

Hi all, I have a 2007 Keystone Loredo, that I haul with a Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed. I have a Rese Slider hitch.
My question is I am able to get a Trail Air Rotoflex pin box for a great price. The one i am able to get is the long version, and I am not able to find any good information on it... I have been able to find a ton of info on the "Standard" length, but not the long, does anyone know if this will work on my setup?

Javi, thanks, but the style is the rotoflex, and not the air ride.
I mainly need to make sure having the long pin box would interfere with anything

The UltraFab web site only shows 1 Rotoflex http://www.ultra-fab.com/new_detail....gnum=35-946202 A check of etariler and several other sites also only show 1 RotoFlex http://manage.ultra-fabproducts.com/...ROTA-FLEX~.pdf

They do however show a long Trail Air Air Ride so that may be the confusion and why you can't find any information on a long Rotoflex

What I was able to find is the 1621L is 3" longer that the 1621...would the 3" make a difference?

The 5th Airborne pin box that I installed was 2-3 inches longer than the Lippert 1621 and did not make any difference. The increased length resulted in the 5th wheel nose sitting 2-3 inches further away from the truck cab --- a good thing!

It appears that Lippert http://store.lci1.com/rota-flex-pin-...l-air-p75.aspx has 2 different part #'s one for the 1621L and one for the 1621... I'd suggest a phone call to Lippert tomorrow to verify

Just an fyi before you buy one... Take a look at etrailer.com it was the best price around when I bought mine. The people were very nice and helpful. If you live in the St louis area you can save on shipping and handling by in staore pick-up. Just thought I would say something if you have been shoping.

The only issue I could forsee with the 3" longer pinbox is the potential to hit the tailgate with a sliding hitch if the tailgate is up and the hitch slides back. It may not even come close on a 6.5' bed, but some people use sliding hitches in F150 crewcab models. The standard bed on that truck is 5.5', so that 3" may well be the difference in buying a new tailgate or not.

I'd do some "looking and measuring" to be sure you can accommodate the extra 3"......

Called Lippert today......Holy crap they are AWSOME....I explained the situation, and what I wanted.....the guy was on the phone with me for about an hour, what ever he didn't know he went out of his way to look it up, and not just give me a half a _ _ ed answer......to make a long story short, no they don't recommend the setup, but it might work, and told me what to look out for......we then got into why I wanted the pin box, and how long I might keep the camper before trading it in Bla Bla and all that stuff....for my situation he explained the benefits of their system, and the system of their competitors. NOT ONCE did he say how much better the Trailair system was than the other guys. just his honest opinion.

If their customer service is that good, I am assuming their products are just as good....even though there is a system that is a little less cost, im going with the trailair, but will get the 1621 standard length

We have the Trail Air Rotoflex pin box on our Alpine. Honestly could not tell much difference from the 1621 we had on the 2004 Everest. Even though the name is Trail Air, there is no air in this model, just a thick piece of rubber that is supposed to dampen the ride. I would only step up if I was going to the model that has the air cushion and shock. Good luck
