T pull handle above axel on drivers side????

Hello all, new guy here on the forum.
We just bought a used 04 Montana 3400RL.

What is this T pull handle for--it is in the frame, in center above the axles!! (drivers side)

not the grey or black--could it be a drain for on board water???

thanks, Rocky

Rocky -

On our '08 Cougar, there are 3 pulls -- one for gray (bedroom sink and shower), one for black and another gray for the kitchen galley sink. So we have 2 grays and 1 black. There is also a drain/spigot located directly underneath the FW tank but it is not a T handle pull.

I am thinking that you also have 2 pulls for gray water - one for the kitchen and another for the bedroom sink/shower.

Well==I will ck it out more tomorrow--I can only assume if it is for gray water--that is open, cause if not we would have been overflowed!!!

We bought our rig from a (non) keystone dealer/--used--so some things we are learning on our own!!

We had a reallllll old Carriage-(85)-that we sold out right before this unit--
the Carriage was ahead of it's time--had stuff the new ones don't have a clue about!!!

Thanks for your quick response,
Rocky

Rocky,

x2, what Festus said... odds are you have TWO gray tanks, for a combined total of 76 gal gray water capacity.

Given the location of your kitchen island/sink, [I'm guessing ] that's most likely your galley gray tank handle.

It's not a guess . .

That handle is for the kitchen sink (galley) grey tank, not your fresh water tank. The fresh water drain on a Monty is usually just a plastic tube sticking through the bottom with a screw on cap probably near the gravity fill place.

WALT HAS IT the "T" handle is the galley drain. every Montana (3) that i have owned the fresh water drain(s) were screw caps on a tube that stuck out the bottom of the trailer. As low tech and reliable as you can get. enjoy the monty
