What do you want us to compare against? Who is your company? What is your rate coverage? LOTS of things go into an insurance rate. I know I, and most others, have their favorite RV insurance companies but there are differences. I use Geico.

The problem with insurance is that each state can and likely has their own regulators. Meaning each state makes requirements that the ins. co.s can/cannot do or must offer. You would think a nation wide co. if great in 1 state would be in all others, but it may not work that way. I would check your state as to who offers it and than look up their ratings in your state.

True that ^^^ We had our cars and truck, and RV insured with one company, called National General Insurance. They had bought out the insurance company we were with. They offer total replacement value on the RV but kept going up in cost for the cars and truck.. We finally went with a different company for the vehicle's, but stayed with National General for the RV..as the one with the vehicles, didn't offer total replacement value..We haven't had any claims to date with them, but they have answered any questions we have had about our insurance with them..We like them just my 2

IMHO Progressive insurance is by far the best RV insurance! I live in California, and did do research on RV insurance when we bought our new Outback 230RS in 2010. We still have it and have safely camped 436 days in it so far. Progressive had a policy with 100% replacement value that in the first (I think) 5 years if your trailer was totaled, they would replace it with new - exact match if still available, even if it cost more than you paid for yours! Or give you your purchase price back! Also (most important for me) if you LOCK a generator, bike, or solar panel to your trailer, photo it, and its stolen, your insurance covers it! (Never needed it so far, but nice to have). Also they have stated value contents - personal property insurance for your lap tops, TV's and personal items if they are stolen. Plus towing / road side assistance which is good - so if I am stuck on the roadside I have double coverage for towing needs. I could not find all the above with other companies. I still carry our home and vehicles on AAA as Progressive simply could not match AAA for those rates, so the trailer is all they have covered for us, but even still they were cheaper than many "bundled" price quotes I got at the time.

My question about changing insurance was ask for a close friend. He feels he has to have full coverage on everything. He will not do what I do for RV coverage, which is a different subject.
