Airbag PSI

I just put a set of Air Lift bags on my ‘18 Ram 1500 and I’m wondering what kind of PSI everyone is running in their bags while towing. My TT is a ‘19 Outback 301ubh with a dry weight of right around 7k lbs. There are times I will be towing with my 60 gal water tank full. As everyone knows the 1/2 ton rams will squat with a gallon of water in the bed.

I'm sure others will chime in but that TT seems a lot for your Ram. GVWR at almost 10000# and 35' long with a hitch weight over 1000#.
What does your payload sticker on the door say. Normally 1/2 ton Rams have fairly low payload ratings.
As far as airbag pressures I ran 50# on my '11 F250 towing an 11000# 5er.

It really does not matter what others use. Your vehicle/load and trailer will be just yours. You need to see what works best. With the vehicles hooked up ready to camp, inflat til the truck is level. Test it, to much bounce is to high. If your going from high mountains to sea level type travel the psi will need to be adjusted as you travel. For me I know how my vehicle handles and when there is to much psi it bounces like having a beach ball inflated on the axle. To feel that ride, while empty, air up and drive around the block and you should get my point. If your way over my your gross weight rating the bags will or may not help.
Edit: I double checked your tow vehicle, make sure the tires are not "P" like on most 1/2 tons. To tow a heavy load you want "LT" tires.

The towing stats for my ram come out to 1,420lbs max payload and 8,110lbs max towing.

Measure the bed height at the center of the rear wheel to the ground with no load. Add load and inflate till you are back to the original measurement. Dont exceed the maximum psi for the airbags.

You may know this, others reading may not!!
Airbags WILL NOT increase the payload of your truck regardless of how much air you put in them, they are for leveling the tow vehicle only. If you are overloaded there's two ways to cure it, #1 more truck or #2 less RV.

What type of airlift bags did you get? Inside the spring or outside? I just installed the airlift 1000 (inside the spring) on my ram 1500 and I believe it says not to exceed 30 psi. I typically will run 20-25 psi depending on the weight.

I guess I'll just jump in;

Air bags won't fix your problem with the truck. Had a Ram 1500 (2 actually) pulling a trailer about the size of yours and it just doesn't work well. I had AirLift 1000s, ran them at 5psi unloaded and maxxed out (spec) when towing. Not a thing going to make that 1500 tow well. You still need to add LT tires, Bilstein shocks, a very good wdh hitch with sway and I don't remember what else I did to try to make it tow "good". I did cure it....an HD truck.
