Just got back from Anchor Down, spend 10 Day there.
We left New York and drove to Candy Hill Campground and stayed 1 night and then headed to Tennessee did the same thing on the way back.
Great park and views.
Sites are nice and big, we were in site 139. In the section its a 4 day minimum.
All sites have a concrete pad with small patch of grass or stone.
Large pool, large beach with giant slide into the lake and there is have a food truck serving hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwich, fries, ice cream and more.
Staff was very friendly.
It was hot everyday was in the high nineties.
Its about a 30 to 45 minute drive to sites in Pigeon Forge depending on the traffic.
Went to the Titanic Museum, Hatfield and McCoy dinner show, Country Tonite show,
The Island, Paula Deen Resturant, Rode The Wheel. Drove to Gatlinburg took the skylift
