Thumbs up EMS-HW50C install in a 26FWRL

Hello everyone,
Thought I'd show a little on the install of the Progressive EMS-HW50C

Unit was well packaged, and well designed.
Modular boards inside make for easy swaps, when something fails

Install went very well overall.
Directions are great, and all I needed was a section of #6-3 wire
to make the jump from the EMS unit to the coach breaker box / distribution panel.

In the 26FWRL, the dist panel and converter are located inside the end table between the two rear chairs. A quick removal of the panel cover and the attaching screws, revealed a bit less than the usual rats nest we have all seen! Someone actually cared about the electrical, I was pleased as I started to sort things out.

All in all, very simple effort; remove the shore power input from the dist panel and send it to the EMS box (relay terminals L1, L2, L3). Then run a new section of #6-3 from the T1, T2, & T3 side of the relay to the dist panel.
Quick location and fastening of both the EMS box and the display, and you are all set.

You can assume I was smart enough to disconnect all power sources to the fifth wheel prior to playtime - pulled shore power and disconnected the batteries.

Nice install, Joe. I recently installed a 30 amp’r for our TT, as well as one for my brother’s Forest River. Very happy with these units.
