Wet carpets
In my 2011 327Res after a trip through a day-long downpour, I only accidentally discovered the carpet on the floor of the dining slide was wet at the point where the wall meets floor. The damp carpet extended along most of this area. Put a couple fans on it to dry it out but can't figure out where the water came from. Anyone ever experience this?

Your going to need to do some research or have someone help to find where and why. Water leaks are not normally where you find water, but above the area. Around any windows, slide seals, roof. Water will travel inside a wall and come out at the lowest point. Sounds like it's only on the slide floor, start with windows, seals on the slide.

May be the seals on the exterior wall that the slide seals against.

I have a Montana 3455SA and noticed a wet spot on the carpet at the floor seam. I am guessing that water from the wheels while towing is being thrown up causing the issue. I’ve already replaced the gasket and added two opposing gaskets to the slide and frame.
I still had a damp spot, but not as bad.

One thing I read on another forum was not to travel with vents open. If you have the big vent covers like Maxxair that have the big rear facing openings it may create a vacuum inside the RV. No way of knowing if this is true but it sounds feasible to me.

I live full time in My 416 which has been parked in the same spot for over a year. I think I might have pulled the seal away the last time I washed it.

Check for loose screws and missing caulk on edge trim and bottom of slide. If weep holes on window frames are clogged water can enter from windows also.

Pressure-test the RV
A few years ago an RV'er in our park was trying this method. He never had any luck that anyone knew, or he had no leaks, one or the other.

Cable adjustment
I have a very long bedroom slide that uses the cable system (Ball I think) and although mine is not over the wheel well I had water leaking in along the slide seal making the carpet at the base of the black cable cover wet. Mine was along the forward facing/ leading edge (when driveing). I adjusted the cables to tighten the slide aginst the wall of the RV and the leak stopped.
You may want to make sure you have a tight seal all the way around.
