To my Bullet 26RBPR Premier nothing, to my Fleetwood Pegasus, finished tearing the floor up, working on the roof and figured out how to replace one of the walls. What fun. Bontrager's in White Pigeon Mi. has been my friend, they have everything.

I installed a 2nd A/C unit in the garage of the Toy Hauler a couple of weeks ago, made a telescoping broom for the top of the slides, and bought a pair of X Chocks for the tires. I also sold my EZ UP canopy and bought a Clam pop up screened in shelter for sitting outside when camping.

I did it on my 2011 North Trail and 2019 Cougar. Just make sure you have all of the tape and adhesives before you start and it is pretty easy. Use plastic scrapers and go slowly when getting the old stuff up so you don't puncture the roof.

I installed a complete battery disconnect switch, added a HDMI switch so the living room TV (satellite) and outdoor TV have the same signal, replaced the analog thermostat with a Coleman-Mach digital thermostat and rewired the backup camera to the marker lights.

Took RV to local mechanic to repack wheel bearings.
Found brake wire rubbed in half. Now at dealer to repair. I told them to please "think beyond the fix, determine true cause then fix forever all 4 brake systems". Not happy about this. RV has 1500 miles on it. Is this common ... for the clips to come loose and wires rub the brake drum?

I replaced my bearings at 10,000 miles about 6 months ago. On one wheel, the wire was rubbing the insulation off. I taped it up and secured it in a better place.

You'd think they'd put a little hole through the brake shoe part (where the clip goes) so the wires could be tie wrapped and secured. I've seen several pictures of this same failure all over the internet. Not good.

Not only that ... the wires (external to the hub) have no slack (at least on my RV) so when the vehicle is raised with Jack's, the axels move away from frame/underside and the wires are taunt. The dealer is looking at this.

Saturday and Sunday I prepped for a trip this weekend. Filled FW tank, flushed hot water heater, setup an Apple TV for the trailer and HDMI switch to share the TV port with Bluray player. I also soft installed a Weboost Drive 4G-X RV as this trip is into an area with poor cell service. For this one time, I will be running the RG6 from the antenna mounted on the ladder through the street side slideout gasket to the booster. I’ll update with the success or failure of this venture. If all goes will I’ll come up with a permanent entry point for the cable.

Funny thing, I read the manual which is not very detailed several times prior to installation and then once more after and only then noticed a note that the unit must be registered with your cell carrier. Not difficult but not something I noticed on the web site either.

Added distilled water to all 4 batteries and paired the In-Command to my new iPhone. This actually wasn't as easy as it sounds as I couldn't get the pairing done until I realized I had to delete my old iPhone so it was actually a 2 adult beverage task.

Yup. In-Command, at least for my model year, will support multiple android pairings but only one IOS device. It has something to do with IOS Bluetooth security.

Pulled out of storage camping with kids and grandkids this weekend.
Unbelievable how dirty they get in just a few weeks.

What I did to my Rv today

Well I grabbed a beer from the fridge does that count.
Couple of weeks back resealed any potential leak areas on roof lubed slides and waxed it.

Easy project day(rain) - cleaned the two MAXXair vent fane. Took the fan blades off and did a good soak as I doubt that they have ever had more then their screens cleaned The one over the kitchen had baked on food cooking goo from 4.5 years of steady use. An set screw holds the blades in place.

Jim, from a voice of experience, the hooks will eventually pull the vinyl loose from its backing. Not a good idea.
