Electrical issues.

Cougar 333mks

My issue is ,

As we were watching TV in the living area the sound system went out and then came back on only to cut off again and not turn back on.

Upon further investigation 🔎 we noticed our fridge, stove vent/light, co2 reader and light above counter was not working.

Hasn't come back on since . . .

Help!?

Those are all 12v items. I would start by looking at fuses or loose connections, particularly at the stereo. We had an issue with our entertainment system and it was remedied by pulling the stereo and cutting crimp connections and replacing with soldered wire ends with wire nuts.

But there are at least three different circuits named, plus the CO detector which I don't believe is even on a fusebox circuit. So the battery reverse fuses, the master fuse (maybe), or converter problems.

Sadly if it isn't fuses it's troubleshooting time. Are the other 12v items in the trailer working? If not then it's likely systemic and, as stated, the converter would be a good place to start (assuming you're connected to shore power, otherwise check battery levels and connections).

Otherwise I'd likely be pulling the power center along with the switches and/or lights in the affected slide and start checking wiring with a volt meter to see if there's a loose feeder wire somewhere.

Solved!

So apparently there was a loose connection in the stereo system that affected our whole kitchen popout. . . 🤔

Thanks for the quick replies!
