2019 373rd electrical

I had 5vr in for body work. Now my converter is fried and back wall (TV) outlets don't work. Breakers look fine, fuses look fine. Guessing a bad ground -- somewhere. Other outlets work. Anyone have a rough wiring diagram of where I should start tracing?

Thanks

You will not find a wiring or plumbing schematic. They are closely held secrets so owners can hone their skills at troubleshooting. At this point, if you are comfortable working with 110/220, you need a multimeter and a lot of patience to find the problem. Start simple and turn off every breaker then turn them back on.
If that does not fix it then it is time to start tracing wires to see where the issue is. Start at the shore cable and work your way in to the converter and then back out to the things that are not working. Good luck and let us know how it works out.

Where was the body work done on the trailer? Did they remove side panels?

All your AC circuits will be Romex, and unless they removed some exterior skin and felt the need to cut the Romex, without some more details it’s a guessing game.

Camping World Henderson NV.

They had removed panels. On next trip, smoked a Dish box after plugging in to rear wall outlet.

Found the Converter had fried and was not charging battery thru shore power. Digging into it, I found back wall outlets and fireplace/heater not working. About to pull fireplace apart. Everything else seems to work.

I don't want to install new converter until resolved or keep that circuit off.
I have check shore power cord and receptacle.

What meant was where on the trailer? Is it filon or tin side?

Not tin. I pulled fireplace hoping there was a fuse behind, but no luck. What are chances the breaker went bad?

Odds are slim IMO. If they removed a section of the exterior wall, they may have caused issues during the repair. I can’t say because I wasn’t there

Curious if an EMS was in place when the electrical problems occurred?

Had one but suspect the incident actually happened when it was in the shop. I had the truck hooked up which kept the battery charged.

Being hooked up to the truck only charges the battery(s) it has nothing to do with the 120VAC stuff.

Was saying that when in shop they didn't use the EMS. They fried the converter and whatever caused that the converter to fry, caused the 120v issue. I didn't notice because the battery kept being charged by hookup via the truck.

I’m assuming it’s 50amp. You may want to see if you’re getting 123 volts off your shore connection. If you have a multimeter, check lady and right “hot” ports. You didn’t say if your shore connection was hardwired into the trailer or was a twist-on connection. And, what the nature of the body work. In theory, body work should not impact your electrical system. There are a couple of notable exceptions to that, however. You didn’t mention if other power outlets / devices are working or not. If, in fact, your converter truly is “fried” you’ll need to replace that before you go much further.

I seen a post on here once where guy had work done and they wired 1 of his wall outlets backwards and he had all kinds of issues just like this until he found that outlet that was wired wrong. May wanna test them all with a multimeter and see if one is grounded backwards
